ESG Playbook Launches New Sustainability Reporting Solutions for Small, Mid-Sized Businesses
Sustainability and business risk software company ESG Playbook announced the launch of Essential Worksheets and Premium Modules, two new sustainability reporting product tiers targeted at small and mid-sized businesses.
According to ESG Playbook, the new solutions come as smaller businesses are looking for practical ways to begin reporting, with stakeholders ranging from investors and lenders to insurers, and customers increasingly request sustainability data. The company said that the new solutions, share the same underlying data architecture as ESG Playbook’s Enterprise Platform, allowing organizations to start with individual reporting tools and expand their capabilities as reporting requirements evolve.
Designed for organizations beginning their sustainability journey, ESG Playbook’s new Essential Worksheets tier includes seven Excel-based reporting tools aligned with sustainability frameworks, with initial offerings covering carbon accounting, climate scenario analysis, transition planning, double materiality, TCFD reporting, VSME reporting, sustainability goals and gap assessments, and additional GRI and IFRS/ISSB worksheets planned for release.
The new Premium Modules tier offers cloud-based applications featuring AI-assisted guidance, consistency checking, project management functionality. The solutions correspond to their worksheet equivalents, allowing organizations to transition to the tier without re-entering data, ESG Playbook added.
Sonia Zugel, Founder and CEO of ESG Playbook, said:
“Regulations may have started the conversation, but they’re no longer the primary reason organizations collect sustainability data. ESG Playbook’s mission is to address not only risk, impact, and opportunities that are industry specific but also mitigation and adaptation strategies resulting in real business-driven decisions.”
