CropX Acquires Ag Data Provider Acclym to Help Food Companies Meet Sustainability Goals
Digital agronomic solutions provider CropX Technologies announced the acquisition of crop supply intelligence company Acclym, expanding its capabilities to help enable food and beverage brands to achieve their agricultural sustainability commitments.
The agriculture sector faces a series of sustainability challenges, accounting for a significant proportion of global GHG emissions, and with the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides contributing to problems including soil erosion and biodiversity loss. The company’s technology leverages augmented on-the-ground data, satellite monitoring, AI and predictive analytics covering more than six million hectares across 39 countries and translates farm-level data into actionable strategies for sustainability, procurement and ESG reporting.
Acclym already works with industry leaders such as Nestlé, General Mills and McCain Foods, providing insights that help track and improve the environmental performance of complex global supply chains.

According to CropX, the acquisition will expand its reach into enterprise agriculture, adding Acclym’s 15-year track record of supply chain intelligence and sustainability expertise to its agronomic farm management platform. The transaction marks the company’s seventh acquisition, and follows its 2024 purchase of nitrogen sensor company EnGeniousAg and 2023 acquisition of Australia’s Green Brain.
