Symrise Appoints Carolina Gioscio as New Chief Sustainability Officer
Fragrance, food and cosmetics ingredients producer Symrise announced the appointment of Carolina Gioscio as its new Chief Sustainability Officer.
Gioscio takes on her new role leading Symrise’s “One Sustainability” team after more than 20 years at global chemicals company Evonik, where she held a series of senior sustainability roles, including most recently serving as Head of Sustainability – Segment Custom Solutions, and previously as Head of Sustainability Performance Materials.
In a post announcing the new appointment, Symrise said:
“Carolina brings extensive international experience in sustainability, strategy, and commercial leadership. Throughout her career, she has successfully driven transformation initiatives and built expertise in sustainable portfolio development, circular business models, and organizational integration.”
Gioscio takes over the role from former CSO Isabella Tonaco, who has been named Group Head of Sustainability at consumer goods company Reckitt.
Symrise added:
