Global professional services firm Accenture announced today the acquisition of Avieco, a UK-based sustainability consultancy focused on helping businesses become more sustainable and carbon neutral.
According to Accenture, the acquisition will bolster its ESG measurement and analytics capabilities, addressing client’s growing needs to manage increasing regulations and emerging standards, and to understand and improve their sustainability performance.

The company’s 60 professionals serve industries including retail and consumer goods, financial services, technology and media.
