Canada Goose Sets Sustainable Materials and Packaging Targets, Partners with Bill Nye on Sustainability
Lifestyle brand and performance luxury apparel manufacturer Canada Goose announced the launch of new sustainability goals, encompassing the materials used in the company’s products and packaging. The company also announced that it has partnered with Bill Nye, serving as an advisor to Canada Goose on sustainability.
Canada Goose’s new goals include a commitment to transition 90% of its materials to Preferred Fibres and Materials (PFMs), such as recycled and organic fibres for its in its outerwear, apparel and accessories by 2025. The company has also committed to sustainable solutions for 100% of its packaging by 2025, including recycled content and recyclability in packaging used across its manufacturing, direct-to-consumer and marketing operations.

Canada Goose announced that it has engaged with science educator and environmental advocate Bill Nye as an advisor. Nye participated in a roundtable event discussing Canada Goose’s bold environmental goals and plans to achieve them.
