Deepki Acquires Real Estate Energy Management Solutions Provider Sobre Energie
Real estate sustainability data solutions provider Deepki announced the acquisition of energy management company Sobre Energie, in a move described by the company as aimed at expanding its capabilities in the management of the energy performance of real estate.
Paris-based Sobre Energie was founded in 2016 and provides energy management and energy-efficiency services for commercial and public real estate portfolios, combining data analytics, software and expertise to help organizations measure and reduce energy consumption, comply with building regulations and implement decarbonization strategies.
Deepki co-founder and CEO Vincent Bryant said:
“The arrival of Sobre Energie’s talent and technology at Deepki marks a major milestone for our sector. With Sobre Energie, Deepki is no longer just measuring the transition, we are driving it. We are the only ones to offer a complete value chain: from market scoring (benchmarking) to kWh savings in the field.”
Founded in 2014, Deepki provides a platform enabling real estate players to collect energy, water and waste consumption data, and use data intelligence to improve assets’ environmental performance, support net zero efforts and measure results.
Deepki said that the transaction will strengthen its expertise in energy management, building out its capabilities with a solution for physical audit of buildings, and enabling the establishment of a hub dedicated to energy efficiency, encompassing digital solutions, AI, energy audits and operational expertise, to help drive const reductions and improve energy and carbon performance.
Philippe Parlange, Chief Client Officer of Deepki, said:
“The integration of Sobre Energie allows us to directly address our clients’ needs by bridging the gap between strategic data and operational action on the ground. By offering this one-stop shop for diagnosing, managing, and monitoring energy efficiency, we provide our clients with the means to transform their environmental ambitions into concrete results.”
