Sustainability and corporate social responsibility data software provider ESG Playbook and nonprofit carbon reduction and climate solutions organization Carbonfund.org Foundation announced today the formation of a new partnership to jointly deliver solutions aimed at enabling companies to launch ESG strategies and initiatives, encompassing carbon emissions reductions and ESG reporting.
Founded in 2019, ESG Playbook provides sustainability reporting solutions to multinational, public and private organizations around the world, with an emphasis on the financial sector with specific modules for asset managers and private equity. The platform supports frameworks and standards including Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics (Big Four Accounting Firms), SASB, GRI, United Nations Sustainability Goals, UN PRI, SFDR, and Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol).
Carbonfund.org’s mission is to make it easy and affordable for any individual, business or organization to reduce & offset their climate impact and hasten the transition to a clean energy future, with offerings including climate change education, carbon offsets and reductions and public outreach. The organization has offset over 40 Billion pounds of carbon emissions by supporting more than 240 carbon reduction projects in 28 countries, and manages the first U.S. carbon neutral product label, the Carbonfree Certified Products Program.
Under the new partnership, ESG Playbook will offer their clients carbon offsets and reduction services through Carbonfund.org Foundation’s renewable energy, forestry and energy efficiency projects, offering clients a “one-stop ESG solution” for comprehensive ESG reporting and carbon neutrality options. Carbonfund.org will refer business partners interested in advancing their ESG reporting and program management to ESG Playbook in order to utilize their single integrated SaaS platform to calculate and track their carbon footprint as well as manage all ESG program reporting.
