Lloyds Launches Carbon and Nature Markets Practice
Lloyds Bank Business and Commercial unit announced the launch of a new center of excellence for Voluntary Carbon and Nature Markets (VCNM), aimed at guiding the bank’s clients through the evolving carbon and nature markets landscape.
Based in London, the new unit will form part of Lloyd’s Sustainability & Client Advisory division. Launched in 2021, the division was formed to support the firm’s largest corporate clients with their sustainability objectives.
To lead the new unit, Lloyd’s announced the appointment of Emily Martin and Gabriella Carden as co-Heads of Voluntary Carbon and Nature Markets. Martin has been at Lloyds for over 10 years, and has most recently been serving as Director, Sustainability & ESG Finance. Cardin joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2011, and has most recently been serving as Director, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM), Sustainability.
