Nestlé Promotes Antonia Wanner to Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer
Global food and beverage company Nestlé announced that it has expanded the role of Chief Sustainability Officer Antonia Wanner to the new role of Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer, and added her as a member of the company’s Group Executive Board.
Wanner has been with Nestlé since joining the company as an in-house lawyer in 2026, and was appointed as the company’s first Chief Sustainability Officer last year, reporting directly to the CEO, but without holding a position on the Executive Board. Prior to her appointment as CSO, she served as Group Head of ESG, Sustainability Strategy and Deployment, leading Nestlé’s ESG efforts, in addition to holding senior leadership positions at the company in Procurement and Sales.
According to Nestlé CEO Philipp Navratil, the company’s decision to bring together the top communications and sustainability roles “will strengthen credible stakeholder engagement and support long-term value creation.”
Navratil added:
“Antonia will make Corporate Communications an even stronger driver of business impact, closely aligned with our strategic priorities and focused on disciplined execution.”
