Accenture Appoints Jens Laue as Sustainability Services Lead for EMEA

Global professional services firm Accenture has appointed Jens Laue as EMEA Lead Sustainability Services.

In his new role, Laue lead the firm’s Sustainability Services in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with responsibility for growing and scaling the business, and orchestrating solutions to create positive impact and durable business outcomes for clients.

Laue joined Accenture in 2022, and has most recently been serving as Managing Director – Sustainability Services, ESG Measurement, Analytics and Performance Lead. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Head of ESG/Sustainability at KPMG Germany.

Laue is succeeding Wytse Kaastra, who has held the role since 2021, and has been appointed as Global Utilities Industry Lead at Accenture.

Mark founded ESG Today following a 20 year career in investment management and research. Prior to founding ESG Today, Mark worked at Delaney Capital Management (DCM) in Toronto, Canada, most recently as the firm’s head of U.S. equities. While at DCM, Mark was part of the firm’s ESG team, responsible for evaluating and tracking the sustainability factors impacting portfolio companies, and assessing the suitability of companies for portfolio inclusion. Mark also spent several years in the sell-side research industry, covering the technology and services sectors. Mark holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York, a BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, and is a CFA charterholder.
