Leading European asset manager Amundi announced today the appointment of Céline Boyer-Chammard as Chief Sustainable Transformation Officer, a newly created role aimed at accelerating the firm’s transformation towards its goal of being a global responsible player.
In her new role, Boyer-Chammard will be responsible for specifying Amundi’s social and environmental responsibility ambition as a responsible investor, working to involve the firm’s French and International teams to embody Amundi’s social contribution, and acting as the reference point for social and environmental responsibility, particularly in terms of non-financial reporting. Additionally, she will contribute to the strategic work towards positioning Amundi as a responsible player and investor.
Boyer-Chammard joins Amundi after more than 25 years at the Boston Consulting Group, most recently serving as Managing Director and Partner, and a member of BCG’s Financial Institutions, Responsible Finance and Technology Advantage practices. She has also served as BCG’s European co-leader for Sustainable Finance.
Boyer-Chammard will also join Amundi’s Executive committee, and will report to Jean-Jacques Barberis, Head of institutional and corporate clients division and ESG supervisor, and Isabelle Seneterre, Head of HR for Amundi group.
