C&A Appoints New Head of Sustainability
European fashion retailer C&A announced that it has appointed Aleix Busquets Gonzalez as its new Head of Sustainability. Mr. Gonzalez is taking the role over from Jeffrey Hogue who will be moving with his family to the United States, according to the company.
Gonzalez joined C&A in 2014, most recently serving in the role of Head of Global External Stakeholder Engagement – Global Sustainability. Prior to joining C&A, Gonzalez held several corporate sustainability-related roles both inside and outside the textile retail industry, with positions at Inditex, including Senior CSR and Supply Chain Manager, and Sustainability Manager. Working as a research analyst for the European Commission, he also developed CSR initiatives at European level within the framework of EC.
