IFS Launches New Emissions Measurement and Reporting Solution for Industrial Companies
Industrial software provider IFS announced today the launch of IFS Zero, a new agentic AI-powered platform aimed at users in asset-intensive industries to measure, disclose, and optimize carbon emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3
According to IFS, the new platform is designed to address emissions management challenges facing sustainability teams, including fragmented data, manual reconciliation, and time-intensive reporting, with a solution that deploys AI across the data cycle, including linking emissions data with assets, energy, and operational systems, mapping data sources, validating information, flagging anomalies, and producing audit-ready outputs.
Key features and capabilities of the new solution highlighted by IFS include the ability to link emissions figures to their source, replacing manual processes with AI agents that collect, map and validate data, an advanced calculation engine, near real-time data, and support for regulatory and compliance reporting requirements with clear audit trails.
Caitlin Keam, VP Manufacturing and Sustainability Applications, at IFS said:
“With IFS Zero, we’re fundamentally changing how industrial companies approach emissions management. For too long, sustainability has meant slow deployments, manual spreadsheets, and reporting after the fact. IFS Zero replaces that with an agentic operating system that delivers an emissions baseline in short timescales and enables visibility into your day-to-day operations.”
