JLL Appoints Erin Meezan as New Chief Sustainability Officer
Real estate and investment management-focused professional services provider JLL announced today the appointment of Erin Meezan as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), with responsibility for growing the firm’s sustainability program.
Meezan joins JLL after more than 14 years at modular flooring company Interface, most recently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer since 2016. At Interface, she led the company’s efforts to surpass its goals to achieve carbon neutrality across product lines, and developed its strategy to become a carbon-negative enterprise by 2040.

Meezan added:

Meezan will succeed Richard Batten in the role upon his retirement after 12 years at JLL, most recently serving as CSO since 2017. Batten also serves as an advisor for the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Net Zero Expert Advisory Group, and sits on the Bloomberg Green Council
