State Street announced today the appointment of Amani Boros as its new head of ESG for State Street International GmbH (SSBI). Boros joins State Street from Thomson Reuters, where she served as Director ESG & ERM.
In her new role, Boros will be responsible for leading SSBI’s sustainability and ESG efforts, developing and overseeing the firm’s ESG strategy, and leading interactions with clients, regulators and other stakeholders.

Prior to her recent role at Thomson Reuters, Boros served as Head of Risk and Control for the Sustainability, Strategy and Finance Group at Credit Suisse, responsible for ESG risk management and for supporting the firm in setting its sustainable strategy and facilitating sustainable investments. She has also worked at firms including Barclays Investment Bank, Wells Fargo, and Deloitte.
