Life and health insurance and asset management provider Prudential plc announced the appointment of Diana Guzman as the company’s new Director of Group ESG.
In her new role, Guzman will work to deliver on the company’s ESG strategy and commitments, maintaining a constructive dialogue with key stakeholders and embedding Prudential’s ESG strategy for sustainable long-term value. She will be based in Singapore and report to the company’s Group CFO, James Turner.
Prior to the appointment, Guzman worked at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Geneva as Head of Sustainable Development Investment Partnership & Development Finance and was Director for global environmental disclosure system CDP.
Guzman will succeed Kerry Adams-Strump, who announced that she will be leaving Prudential at the end of May after five years at the company, and serving as Director of Group ESG since 2021.
“ESG sits at the heart of our business and drives our purpose to help people get the most out of life. Our footprint means that we strive to actively place the considerations of emerging markets at the forefront of our approach. I’m delighted to welcome Diana to the team as we continue to work towards the long-term success, resilience and health of the global community, and thank Kerry for her commitment and significant contribution to our ESG agenda since 2020.”
