Apollo Hires Dave Stangis for Newly Created Chief Sustainability Officer Role
Global alternative investment manager Apollo Global Management announced today the appointment of Dave Stangis as a Senior Partner, joining the firm in the newly created position of Chief Sustainability Officer, with responsibility for leading Apollo’s sustainability efforts, building on the firm’s ESG program.

Stangis joins Apollo from advisory services firm 21C Impact, which he founded and served as CEO, advising CEOs and C-suite executives on ESG technology and sustainability strategies. He has held a variety of senior sustainability-focused roles at several major companies, including serving as Chief Sustainability Officer for Campbell Soup Company, and as Director of Corporate Responsibility for Intel.
